New Officers Elected for 2007-08

New officers were elected at MISA/ASIM Canada's first Annual General Meeting, held April 28 at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, preceding the 2007 Lac Carling Congress.
The meeting marked the conclusion of Roy Wiseman’s two-year term on the board and as association secretary. Wiseman, from the Region of Peel, Ontario, is succeeded by Gerry Matte of the Municipality of Saanich, BC, as the new secretary. Kathryn Bulko of the City of Toronto succeeds Wiseman as one of the two MISA Ontario board representatives.
The other, Garry Bezruki of the City of Waterloo, continues as treasurer. Kevin Peacock of the City of Saskatoon continues as president.
Daya Pillay of Halifax Regional Municipality is the new vice-president, succeeding Daniel Malo of the City of Montreal, who remains on the board.
