MISA West Conference

The Misa West Fall conference is in beautiful Vernon, British Columbia and is running from September 14th to 17th, 2010.. This year's conference will focus on Sustainability, and what municipalities are working toward to meet this daunting goal.

Sessions will focus on technical and administrative training, discussions, roundtable meetings, and new and innovative products and services from vendors. We are also increasing the opportunities for informal gatherings, and opportunities to mingle and talk, maximizing networking between all professionals in our world.

Special speakers and attendees for 2010 are Michael "Pinball" Clemons of the Toronto Argonauts, Jay Ingram of the Daily Planet TV show, Dave W. Wallace CIO of Toronto, Shari Wallace Director of IT of Vancouver, and Chris Moore CIO Edmonton.

MISA IT Security Conference

The seventh annual MISA IT Security Conference will be held November 8 -10 in Timmins, Ontario.

The City of Timmins is host for the event, with the theme of “Mining for Security Gold.”  Delegates will be treated to an underground mine tour.
